I Am Because We Are....

Peace of Christ! Al-salamu-alaykam! Shalom! Free the Land! As so many of you know, I am called to bring together different people of diverse traditions who are deeply committed to freedom and justice. As a part of my Religion & Society Th.M. program at Princeton Seminary, I am taking a course on "Judaism, Christianity & Islam in Israel / Palestine." I am studying the complex cultural, religious and political histories of northern Africa and how that impacts the world. In January, we will have the opportunity to travel to Israel / Palestine where we will spend three weeks at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute intensively engaging the people and the places at the heart of so many of our most sacred traditions and intractable conflicts. There is no scholarship money for this trip. I cannot go without you. I am asking you to invest in me so that I can yield a freedom dividend for us. I am because we are. Thank You.
