It is with a heavy heart that I request your prayers and assistance in this great time of need. My sister Charlie has endured a tragedy that has been very heavy on our family. I have known my sister to be a giver since she came to this planet. I watched my sister give support and love to my parents who tried giving us a life in Arizona .Charlie has given me a firm, unconditional love as a sister and a friend to accomplish dreams and set goals for myself and her, I watched her give herself so openly to people in her friendship, counseling, laughter, wit, genius and work ethic.

On November 11th,2018, Charlie was at Jammerz, a popular local hangout in our small town celebrating her birthday along with her best friend Ashley and Ashley’s cousin Daniel .Without knowledge to them, that night would change all our lives in an instant , a lone gunman came in shooting, killing the bar tender and Daniel instantly , leaving Ashley and my sister Charlie with life altering injuries due to gun shot wounds they both sustained. Both had to be airlifted as soon as first responders arrived.
Due to the severity of the situation both emotionally and physically , it is too soon to know the state she will be in from the damage she has sustained .Charlie is still in serious condition. She is currently surrounded by my parents 24/7 since I am 8 months pregnant and cannot travel the distance to even see her .She had been in a Valley Hospital nearly 100 miles away each way since this tragedy occurred .It is likely she will need to begin extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation for an unforeseen period of time.

Any assistance you provide will go to her medical bills, which have quickly accrued in the last 4 days. Transferring costs have yet to be determined. In mean time the costs began accumulating from the minute EMS picked her up .Any remaining funds will go to our parents who have missed work to be with Charlie, and myself, a new mom to be , with a due date approaching , we are all pulling together to be there for Charlie , the expenses from traveling between Globe and the Valley to and from the hospital.

For those who cannot financially assist us, I implore you to please pray for her speedy recovery. If you know or have met Charlie, you know she gives us all life. Charlie exudes love, life, laughter, joy, selflessness, enlightenment, passion, friendship, loyalty, forgiveness, wisdom, and so much more. There is truly nothing that girl cannot execute with perfection--she's the best person I know, she's a fantastic dancer, a powerhouse singer, and she gives everyone a reason to smile. She is my Heartbeat. Without Charlie I would not be where I am today. She is my sister, a second mom to my baby before it even arrives, my best friend, and my #1 fan. She has always taken care of me, as I of her, supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me--something she does for all the people she loves. Our home town of Globe and it’s residents have been amazing and completely supportive during this surreal ordeal. We have leaned on them in a way We know she would smile so big watching. In return, all I ask is that you keep her in your prayers and assist us in any way you can. Our strong girl needs us.
