Hello, my name is Horcelie Sinda Wa Mbongo. i am 23 years old. I am Artist by profession, an Activist and Campaigner. I have been campaigning to end aids globally, especially in the Congo by 2030, and to ensure there is a free access to treatment in the DRC, people who are HIV positive to stay on treatment, end Mother to Child transmission and build local clinics in every region, starting in small communities in Kinshasa as well as Matandi. Well, all these things listed can be achieved and implemented to meet the goal by 2020, even as small as getting people tested and staying on medication. However, it is beyond my control and power to achieve these sustainable development goals. The reality is, this too is political and needs government support, MPs, politicians, Doctors, nurses ect.
Why raise funds:
I am raising funds to visit the Congo and work with two organisation working with Children living with HIV and Women's reproductive health. I have not been to the Congo since i arrined in the UK, going back with this vision is honestly God's grace. i would like your support because this visit will enable me to visit hospitals, speak to Doctors and nurses, collaborate, deliver workshops in Clinics, schools etc. This is the first trip, therefore i am going with an insight but open-mindedness to really get first-hand information on heath in the Congo, DRC.

Je fais campagne pour mettre fin au sida à l’échelle mondiale, en particulier au Congo d’ici à 2030, et assurer un accès gratuit au traitement en RDC, aux personnes séropositives de rester en traitement, à mettre fin à la chaque région, à commencer par de petites communautés à Kinshasa ainsi que Matandi. Bien, toutes ces choses énumérées peuvent être réalisées et mises en œuvre pour atteindre l’objectif d’ici 2020, même si elles sont aussi limitées que de faire tester les gens et de continuer à prendre des médicaments. Cependant, il m'est impossible de réaliser ces objectifs de développement durable. La réalité est que cela aussi est politique et a besoin du soutien du gouvernement, des députés, des politiciens, des médecins, des infirmières.
Pourquoi lever des fonds:
Je recueille des fonds pour visiter le Congo et travaille avec deux organisations travaillant avec les enfants vivant avec le VIH et la santé reproductive des femmes. Je ne suis pas allé au Congo depuis mon arrivée au Royaume-Uni. Revenir avec cette vision est la grâce de Dieu. Je voudrais votre soutien car cette visite me permettra de visiter des hôpitaux, de parler avec des médecins et des infirmières, de collaborer, d’organiser des ateliers dans des cliniques, des écoles, etc. C’est la première visite, donc je suis ouvert obtenir des informations de première main sur la santé au Congo, en RDC.
