We need a home

Hey everyone.
Thank you for taking time out to read our story.
This year has been a rough one for me and my family. I'll kind of try to make it short. Most of you know the history with Cory and his feet. Also, all he has already going through witt them. So let me start from the beginning. February 2020 is when it all began, my husband was told he needed to have surgery on his foot, once again. He has had many of surgeries on his feet before. Surgery went find and he was supposed to only be out of work for minimum of six weeks. The time came for him to go back to the doctor on Wednesday April 22, 2020. While there talking with the doctor he was told that he needed another surgery. Well we go home to our kids who were with my mother in law at our house. Like normal I was cleaning, doing laundry and school work. I was off of work at the time due to recovering from pneumonia myself. While sitting in the living room, doing homework, kids watching tv, Cory went to town to pick up medication for me, I get a phone call. My father in law calls me in a panic, telling me I need to get out of our house now. I didn't know what to do. I closed my computer shoved it under my arm, grabbed the kids in a panic and ran out the front door. I immediately see thick black smoke in the air coming from behind my house. I'm holding my 2 year old and I tell my boys run, run as fast as you can away from the house.. We all ran down the gravel road, no shoes, crying, scared. I immediately call 911. At that point i felt so helpless. My kids are crying because they don't understand why their house is on fire. My 5 year old asking where are we going to live at now. The next 2 hours after this were the scariest thing I've ever had to go through in my life. House is completely gone. My car gone. My husbands truck gone. ALL of our belongings down to our shoes GONE! With the help of some wonderful friends and family we were able to get all the essentials. We have a temporary home. Fast forward not even a month later on May 11, 2020 my husband is having to have another surgery. Due to COVID-19, no one was allowed in the hospital with him, all the way in Baton Rouge. Myself being an essential healthcare worker was unable to be away from work as well. After Cory's surgery he was informed they had to amputate his pinky toe. Leaving him with a TOTAL of 3 toes. Through this all we have tried to stay positive, but it is hard. We are unsure if Cory will be able to go back to work anytime soon or not. With all this being said we obviously need a new home. We have been approved and picked out a double wide to put of our property But are having some financial issues. We do have some money but not enough to do all the essentials or pay the 20% down required. We are not ones to ever really ask for anything. I was taught to work for what you have. We do, but we have been dealt these cards and I'm trying to figure out how to manage. We have three kids, 8,5 and 2 years old. I'm also in school full time.
Money donated will be used to pay for down payment on home and dirt pad and concrete runners. This is all we need to get back to somewhat normal.
Thank you very much for taking time out to read this.
