Moe's Journey with ILC

I have started this journey so unprepared for a major event or illness in my life, not just because of the medical expenses but though trying to work as much as possible, I can not work like I have done for so long. I love my role that is now only a weekend job of being a caregiver, especially helping those who have dementia or hospice cancer patients . I am praying this just a quick detour. It is hard for me to ask for help as I have worked so hard since my divorce to regain my independence and keep a roof over my head .

Please feel free to help me as I venture down this pathway of full recovery of invasive lobular carcinoma that undoubtedly has been missed on mammogram and ultrasound for many years as it is found to be 13 cm on MRI. I am still in shock.  

Stay tuned to my updates/blog as I let you know my battles and struggles that so many others have ventured and WON! I am a fighter and will not let this get me down for long, I may grumble and cry, but I will not give in.

Oh, those of you who have puppies, when I am on the other side of this treatment plan, I need a pile of puppies to play in! Nothing is better medicine than a pile of pups and puppy kisses! Nothing makes me happier.
