Stay Strong Jennifer Barnett Fund

00This project is dedicated to my best friend of 25 years - Jennifer Merritt Barnett. I could tell you all the great times we have had over the last 25yrs- But instead I want to tell you about the REAL her. She is a dedicated mother to 3 children, and loving wife to Brian Barnett...she is a proud Mom to a US Army member, she donates her time and money to MANY local charities and school projects. You know...she's kinda a giver. My best friend has wayyyy too much pride to ever do this. I don't. I cant afford pride anymore. I need your help and so does she. Jennifer was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with cancer also being present in her liver...that news came yesterday (Sept 26, 2013). We WILL beat this disease! Here is where you guys all come in...her insurance has now not only put up a fight for the new FDA approved medication to help battle the liver issue, but they also shut off one of her chemo medications that she needs her in fancy but very expensive "chemo cocktail"...How can this be?! Do they not know how important she is to us?

So I'm the kind of friend you call at 3am...and ask for a tarp and a wooodchipper. I fix things. I'm refusing to allow my best friend go even one more treatment without the medication she needs. Please. Please help. I don't care what you can offer...but please. She gives so much, her son is giving his life for this country and she has a baby girl that needs her Mama there, and another son who wasn't born with the same blood- but he chose HER to be his Mom. Please. Anything will help.

I will keep everyone posted and share photos...if you cant give- please send prayers and positive energy. We will refuse nothing. I don't know how my life would have turned out with her not in it...and I never want to find out.
