This page is dedicated to our dearest
friend Eva Joyce who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Eva is
a 30 year-old single mother of a handsome 4 year-old son named Mason (a.k.a
Mason Man). As many Mothers can relate, Mason is Eva's pride and joy! As he
looks up to her, she's prepared to fight!
As I am sure you can imagine, the diagnoses came as a shocking blow, and Eva realizes that there is a tremendous fight ahead. No surprise to those who know her, Eva is ready - and the gloves are off. She's going to fight this - with everything she has - to conquer any obstacles that step into the ring! Since her diagnosis, Eva has undergone a double mastectomy and soon she will begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments. And let us add this important fact, she's been fighting these rounds with the most positive and optimistic outlook!
Family & Friends, Co-workers, and Friends of Friends, if you would like to join us, ring side, to help root for Eva Joyce, and to support her in the fight, we will be accepting donations of any amount. All donations will directly support our dearest friend, as she bobs and weaves, claws and fights, her way through the rounds.
Our GOAL is to raise enough money to take care of her monthly bills and medical bills (i.e. co-payments she incurs during each chemo/radiation treatment or surgery). Wouldn't it be amazing for our friend to not have to worry about bills, so she can focus on what really matters which is winning this fight!
In life, there are some things you just can't financially prepare for, and cancer is one of those things. The beautiful thing about people and the community is how we come together in times of need. Long before Eva's diagnoses, she was giving back to her community and to people in need. Eva has shed sweat and effort with Habitat for Humanity, and given pieces of her own self to the Locks of Love foundation. Eva's most recent donation to Locks of Love, will be hand-delivered to the corporate facility as soon as she is well enough to travel!
