Honoring Keithion Brown Sr.

Loving husband, brother, father, friend, chef, entertainer, hard worker--those are a few words that instantly come to mind when describing how great of a person this man was. To know him was to love him, and to be loved by him was life-changing. He had a smile as long as Bourbon street, and an energy that was contagious. Every celebration felt like Mardi Gras! He was vibrant, caring, outgoing, and had a heart truly made of gold.

On the late evening of Sept. 29th, after returning home from work, Keithion suffered a brain aneurysm. He remained in a coma, until the Lord blessed him with wings, and called him to fly home on Sunday October 1st. His faith was strong; most memories people have about Keith include him being very active in church.

After the passing of his mother, Sharon, Keith raised his siblings. Family was all that mattered to Keith, no child ever went hungry on his watch. He and his wife, Dominique, and their children had just moved into a new place and got a vehicle, making funds extremely short. Keith had recently started a new job, but hadn't been there long enough to earn any benefits. That's why we're asking for support to give him a proper home-going.

Keith was currently living in Georgia, but will be buried in MN next to his mother. There are a lot of costs in addition to the funeral that go into flying home for a burial, but there's no place else he'd rather be. All money collected will go towards paying to have him flown to MN, covering the cost of the funeral expenses, as well as transportation for his wife and children to and from Georgia to Minnesota.

Let's all join together and do Keith proud, as we know he'd do the same for anyone else in need. No amount is too small, so in the famous words of Keithion Lamont Brown Sr. , "can a brother please get a love offering"! On behalf of Keith's family and friends, thank you all for the support. Sincerely grateful,Shantia
