The badass Karen is, she fought it harder each time with it’s every sneaky return.
Between CT Scans, PET Scans, pokes and prods, CA125, Carboplatin, Cisplatin, Gemzar, NG tubes, Avastin treatments ……I don’t know how many others but Im sure there are more and not to mention all the surgeries. Let’s just say Karen has dealt with a lot.
And so has Pete, Adeline and Mea.
As you may have read on Pete and Karen’s Caring Bridge site, this past September, the cancer came back.

As many as us want to help and don’t know how, this site, the GoFundMe page is here to do just that.
The idea is to set up a fund for Pete and the girls to take some time off, to ‘not worry’ about Pete running off to work, take time to be with each other and begin healing and to share Karen’s light.
