Help save this darling stray

I found this cat in the alley of my office. I really didnt see the extent of her issues until I bought a can of food and she came up to me. She allowed me to pet her and when I touched her back I felt that her entire coat was matted to the point that she could barely MOVE! It felt like a shell.
Ive never even held a cat before but my first instinct was to pick her up and when I did I couldn't believe how light she was! I immediately began crying..how could she have been so neglected for so long... how could no one have helped her out. The extent of the matting must have taken months..or YEARS!

! She is probably only 2 lbs... skin and bones.
I rushed her over to my mothers house where she began to shave off the matted hair. It took over and hour to get the big ones shaved off since they were so thick.
We went to rescues, called everywhere we could, and no one would take her. They are all full! We called around for low cost veterinary care..no one will look at her until we have the funds for a LARGE deposit since they are afraid we are going to leave her there and take off.

I never do this...but I need your help to save this cat. She is an absolute sweetheart. she never scratched or tried to bite when it was so obvious she was in such pain.
If you can donate $5...$10...$20....she would appreciate it, and so would my fiance Brad and I..
We would love to get her healthy enough to be able to be adopted out..to spend her living laying on a fluffy bed, not in the gutter with trash stuck in her fur!
