Help Mel's Momma

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. I give pause every day to appreciate everything and everyone I have in my life. Right now I need a favor - a HUGE favor!

My mother made a courageous decision to leave her home country and her family (the Thai ones) in Thailand in the early 70's in hopes of a better life in America.

She has been able to support herself and works very hard, but my mother now lives alone. She is on a very limited income and cannot afford basic maintenance issues at her home in southeast Austin.

She has many, many problems with her house that are impacting her health in a negative way. Her house needs a lot of work to make it a safe and healthy place for her to live and I am determined to change that.

I have recently changed careers and cannot pull this off without a great deal of help. I have some volunteers to help with the work, but I will need many more. We need so much I don't even know where to start.

Could you please see yourself clear to donate to help move this project forward? Any amount is greatly appreciated of course, and if the timing is not good I understand completely.
