Help Jahvon Fight

Friends, Family and Well-wishers, On September 21st, we received the most devastating type of news imaginable. My son, Jahvon(9) was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was only given days to live without surgery. Doctors explained that the golf ball sized tumor, known as Choroid Plexus Papilloma (CPP), is an extremely rare form of growth and was not found within his age group. Only a half of a percent of all globally documented tumor cases are of this type. It was located just centimeters above his brain stem, which anyone in the medical field knows the extreme dangers of messing with this area of the brain. Over the course of 5 procedures, all of Jahvon's essential body functions were impacted. This will make his recovery process quite a fight and could take years. He will need at-home therapy beyond what he will get during his hospital stay. The commute which is just under 3 hrs each way has caused us to not be able to tend to life matters. We will exhaust every resource available in his fight, which is still far from over. With all of these efforts comes a financial burden that no parent or family is prepared for or should have to worry about when trying to save the life of a child.
