Kick Cancer in the Face, Jess!

For my dear friend Jessica Deis 2014 has been an eventful year. The mother of three (absolutely adorable) girls has been a birth photographer for years but she recently went back to school so that she can help even more mothers as a nurse. She will graduate in December as an RN. While balancing home and school, she has also been able to add working as an ER technician to her plate. This year her family was finally able to move into a house with enough space for the little ones to stretch out in.



Unfortunately, 2014 is also the year that Jes was diagnosed with cervical cancer. 

Next month she will undergo a radical hysterectomy. During the procedure, her lymph nodes will be examined to see if it has spread. If the cancer has progressed she will need to undergo chemotherapy post surgery. The best case sceanario is that everything cancerous will be removed with the hysterectomy, but the recovery from that will put her out of work for almost two months. 

Jess is one of the most openly generous and caring human beings I have had the good fortune to meet. She would give the clothes off her back to help someone who is suffering.  Now, she needs help.
