Hello my name is Ria and i am Olgas Best Friend. I have started this fundraising page for Olga as i really feel that she could do with a little help at this time.
Anyone who knows Olga will know what a kind hearted, hardworking person she is and puts others before herself (Including) Animals! When Olga lived in her home country of Slovenia she used to rescue animals and set up a little sanctury called Animal Angels, where she devoted so much of her time in between working long hours herself. I've been told that she has rescued over a thousand dogs and cats at Animal Angels. She has also been running a small charity here in The Canary Islands, working long hours to help people in need at these awful times of the Pandemic.
Recent times have been difficult for Olga and, unfortunatley a few months ago she had quite a serious operation to remove 3 discs from her neck as she has had chronic pain for such a long time that, she had no option but to have an operation. She lost her job that she loved and worked so incredibly hard at. Olga is a very Generous girl and after she received her salary each month (& once her rent had been paid and she made sure that her furbabies were cared for), she used to send her remaining money to her father in the country of Croatia as he has been unwell for a while long time and, this was to buy his medication for him and other necessities.
Olga's father became extremely unwell recently and with the help of myself and others in the village where we live here in The Canary Islands, we managed to raise some funds so we could get her to Croatia to see her very, very poorly father. At first the hospital wouldn't let her see him and he was growing increasingly worse and her fears were that she wasn't able to say her goodbyes to him but, by some miracle she was able to hold his hand for one last time and, he even opened his eyes to acknowledge that Olga was with him. Sadly the very next day her father Dario passed away.
I guess what i am now asking is that, would anyone please be as so kind to help Olga as she now has to find some money from somewhere to be able to pay for her fathers funeral and, to somehow be able to return back home here to us and to be with her beloved animals.
I would just like to say A Big Thank-you in advance to anyone that feels that they may be able to help my very dear friend Olga at this time.
And i also appreciate that there is a Pandemic going on and is not easy for a lot of people out there either and i would like to wish them well and to Stay Safe at this time.
