On July 25 my daddy was diagnosed with lymphoma brain cancer. The breath was knocked out of all of us that love him. Life can change in the blink of an eye. He was always a hard working man that woke up early and came in late. A provider for his family always. He was the life of the party, joking around always to make people laugh and now he does not even talk unless asked a question. Life has changed dramatically and now we see 6 doctors and several scans and radiation treatment & spinal taps. I've seen 1st hand after taking him to all his dr visits the financial stress this is and will continue to be. Today we are accepting the fact that daddy will never be the same and needs 24 hour care, per doctor visit today. We are paying for a sitter as much as we can to help with him. He's taken several falls and we pick him up and help him along. His confusion is so heartbreaking and we try to help him to stay on track. He has good days and bad. He can't walk without assistance anymore, and takes so much medicine now. As heartbreaking as this is I feel the need to reach out to family and friends that know how hard this is on my parents. I never thought we would need help but the time has come. I know this will help take the pressure financially off my parents and to help us get him the care he needs.
