What is 4Hire about?
4Hire is a thrilling drama about Edith, a struggling single mother who must use her driving skills to conquer unexpected twists and turns driven by two L.A. gang members which allows her to learn the importance of life and family.
Donations
Any donations given will help with costs of production which includes equipment, set design, permits, locations etc. We just started the semester and are looking to raise this amount as fast as possible in order to get started on bringing this story to life!
Any donation is greatly appreciated as this project is our segue into our careers in the entertainment industry. This is our last chance to prove what we can do as professional filmmakers. We are students in the Television program at Cal State University Northridge with the goal of raising money to fund our senior thesis project. We need your help to reach our goal to make this story a success.
As college students, we can’t afford to cover a lot of our production costs because, it can get very expensive. By donating money to our senior thesis project, it can help us achieve in making our film come to life, but it can also benefit you or your business with tax deductions. Topic Number 506 - Charitable Contributions
You can only deduct charitable contributions if you itemize deductions on Tax Form 1040, Itemized Deductions.For contributions of cash, check or other monetary gift (regardless of amount), you must maintain a record of the contribution: A bank record or a written communication from the qualified organization containing the name of the organization, the amount, and the date of the contribution.
All checks must be payable to CSUN Associated Students in which the memo states CTVA 4Hire
For any contribution of $250 or more (including contributions of cash or property), you must obtain and keep in your records a contemporaneous written acknowledgment from the qualified organization indicating the amount of the cash and a description of any property contributed. The acknowledgment must say whether the organization provided any goods or services in exchange for the gift and, if so, must provide a description and a good faith estimate of the value of those goods or services. One document from the qualified organization may satisfy both the written communication requirement for monetary gifts and the contemporaneous written acknowledgment requirement for all contributions of $250 or more.
