Hi, My name is Isaac and I am fundraising to help my friend Dominick Perez and his family with medical expenses. Dominick is 19 years old, who recently graduated High School, then started working. He has been very responsible with his job and people enjoy working with him. I’ve known Dominick for many years, we played soccer together, and he has always been very active, athletic, and full of life. He has always shown kindness, cares for others and puts people before himself.

About a year ago after playing soccer Dominick would complain of chest pain and feeling more tired than normal. A few months ago, his face, feet and arms started getting swollen, he was having difficulty staying on his feet and would get tired easily. After several visits to the hospital, Doctors ran several tests and gave him medication which helped for a short period but he ended up at the hospital again. After more tests and visits to the hospital, Doctors said his kidneys are failing and diagnosed him with Lupus (Autoimmune Disease), this disease has made his kidneys unfunctional. Dominick was recently admitted to the hospital in critical condition with COVID and pneumonia. With Lupus, this became more aggressive but thankfully Doctors say he is improving, and they plan on him going home soon.

Dominick will still need to receive lifelong treatments, long-term medications, frequent lab draws and very close follow up with doctors.

I am asking for your help to alleviate some of the financial burden Dominick and his family will have.
