Jake had an accident Friday night and has suffered a head injury. He was rushed to ICU at Royal Perth Hospital where he was placed in an induced coma. His injuries at this stage are a fractured skull in 2 places, swelling and bleeding on the brain and a possible fractured hand. He is starting to become responsive and has now been moved this morning to the trauma unit where we have been told he will be for a week or more. From here he will move to the Neurology unit until they determine he is ready to move and eventually Fiona Stanley for rehab. Rehab if all goes well will take at least 6 months, possibly more.While medical costs for Jake will be covered it is the other expenses such as loss of income, parking fees, food, daycare for Sienna so Kiera can be by Jakes side.Any donation will be much appreciated to help.
