Hi everyone! As some of you may or may not know, we recently joined the Junior Board of The New York Foundling (https://www.nyfoundling.org/). We were introduced to The Foundling by our good friend, Marianna Reilly, and immediately fell in love with the services. From the Adoption Services and Crisis Nursery (a free and voluntary respite program providing a temporary safe haven for children and an aid for families to get back on their feet) to the Haven Academy (a charter school in the South Bronx, specially designed to meet the unique needs of children in the child welfare system) we knew The Foundling was the right fit for us.
We hope to spend a lot of our time and energy helping those who have not been as fortunate as we have been. It is extremely inspiring to be around everyone involved in this organization and we hope you feel the same way. We are asking for donations to the charity in lieu of wedding, Christmas and birthday gifts. As much as we love having gifts from everyone we would love it even more to be able to provide clothes, activities, support, education and so much more to those in need. No amount is too small. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1869 as a home for abandoned children, The Foundling today offers an expansive array of services for underserved children, families, and adults with developmental disabilities. Whether it's an abused child in need of a foster home, a young mother who lacks the skills to care for her child, or a young person lost in the juvenile justice system, The Foundling provides the resources necessary to rebuild lives and rebuild families. We serve over 6,000 children, families, and adults in the 5 boroughs, Westchester and Rockland counties, and Puerto Rico.
