Funeral Expenses for Daniel Salazar

Hello, my name is Stephanie Salazar. I am Daniel Salazar's sister. Unfortunately, my family and I are suffering the loss of our beloved Daniel. Many people knew him as Dan or Danny, but I always called him Daniel. Daniel was an incredible young man who inspired and touched many lives through his great sense of humor. He always made people around him laugh. At 27 years old, my brother lost his life due to an accidental firearm discharge. Daniel moved to live in Georgia in 2020. He was a detention officer at Haralson County Sheriff's Office. He loved what he did and wore his uniform with pride.

Today we opened this Gofundme account for those who wish to help transport Daniel from Georgia to New York, where we will put his body to rest and cover funeral expenses.
