The Boricua Relief

Hurricane Maria has destroyed the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, that my family and I have called home. The aftermath is heartbreaking to see; the culture, the structures, and the joyous people torn by mother-nature. Yet, the most disheartening aspect is the mission our family has endured to survive without electricity and possibly water for months. There is limited access to resources; the roads have been replaced with debris and floods, cars damaged by high waters, and gas is rationed. With the financial crisis the island has suffered for years, the least we could do, as we feel helpless being miles away, is raise money to send survival packages until more support reaches them.  We are a firm believers of God, and in him we trust. We continue to pray for the safety of everyone affected by these horrific hurricanes in the Caribbean, in the states and the awful earthquakes in Mexico. We are grateful and appreciate any help you are able to provide, as a little goes a long way! We we are still awaiting to hear from family members.
