Matthew's Kidney Tranplant Fund

We recently met with my husband's transplant team to go over medical expenses and our plan of action! Although the average wait time for a kidney is 4 years, the amount of medical bills we have come to collect in getting to the root of the problem is overwhelming for our new family. Between lab work, testing, biopsies, and now the training and beginning of peritoneal dialysis the medical bills have reached tens of thousands of dollars.

Considering donation either monetarily or getting tested to see if you qualify to be a donor would help us out tremendously! No amount, big or small, will go unnoticed and our family sincerely thanks everyone who helps with this cause. We can't express how much the outpouring of support by our friends and family means to us and we can't wait until the day we announce that all of our prayers have been answered and we have a kidney!


*UPDATE:* Matthew has been doing PD diaylysis treatments here at home. He is hooked up to a machine every night for 8 hours while the cycler machine acts as his kidneys and pumps medicine into him while pulling/draining out the toxins. While his kidney function will continue to get worse and eventually turn to nonexistent, we are thankful that we are able to do dialysis out of our own home and during the night to keep things as normal as possible, for the sake of our very crazy, beautiful little boy :)
