Michael Kirshbaum Medical Fundraiser

Hello, and thank you for looking at the GoFundMe site for
Michael Kirshbaum. We are trying to raise money to assist Michael, and his
family, with medical and other bills.
Michael was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Adenocarcinoma. Due to this diagnosis, Michael has had to stop working in the fields in which he has dedicated his life, and which feeds his passion for helping and entertaining others. After high school, Michael started out on his journey to help and support others. First, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served as a Medic at the DMZ in Seoul Korea. After receiving his honorable discharge, Michael realized that he had a calling for helping others.
After his discharge from the U.S. Army, Michael went on to Chiropractic school where he earned his DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). His work as a Chiropractor was brought to a halt after a car accident left him unable to adjust due to a shoulder injury. Still having a desire to help others, Michael enrolled in Physician Assistant (PA) school from which he graduated and became a Certified Physician Assistant. His PA career allowed him to work in neurosurgery, interventional radiology, ICU, and other departments alongside some of the best medical staff at Stonybrook Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
During this time, Michael's passion for helping and entertaining others took on another form as Michael became a magician, certified hypnotist, mentalist, and most recently an actor and member of the Screen Actors Guild. Michael's fascinating slight of hand, and ability to entertain others was apparent. Over the years, Michael has entertained hundreds of people, children and adults, at private and corporate parties/events, many of which were free of charge. The joy he received from watching people laugh, and seeing the amazement on their faces, continued to fuel Michael's desire to work tirelessly on the side traveling where he could to entertain audiences. Michael received work as an actor (extra) and appeared in Just Wright and Law & Order.
It is time for us to give back and help Michael. After years of giving to others, Michael has had to stop working to aggressively fight his cancer. We are looking for donations to assist him, his wife Jeannine, and their two children, Jaclyn (a senior in high school), and Dylan (a freshman in high school).
