My name is Laura Rhein and I'm a cancer strategist working with a non-profit organization called Take The Fight. Last semester, I was one of the first college students to work as a Take The Fight cancer strategist at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. I worked alongside a breast cancer patient to help her fight stronger and more efficiently. I helped facilitate her understanding of her disease, organized her notes and documents, attended her appointments, and gave endless support. Fortunately, she is in remission now!
