Join Jordan's Journey

September 9th at 10:45am Jordan Holifield was traveling southbound on McDonald Rd. Theodore, Al. when a 35yr old (Joshua Ferguson) crossed over the center line and struck Jordan's vehicle head-on. Jordan was flown by life-flight to USA Medical Center. She sustained two broken femurs, crushed pelvis and her lower leg was de-gloved with a lot of muscle trauma/exposed bone. Jordan received 10 units of blood and several units of plasma. The driver of the other vehicle died with his cell phone in his hand. If first responders weren't there at the right time, if she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.....Jordan would not be with us today. Jordan was home from college for the weekend to help with youth softball and ride horses. Jordan is a local soft ball star who is attending Mississippi College to play softball. Jordan has a very long recovery ahead. Jordan will have months of rehab in hope she can return to her active lifestyle. Jordan is the first to help others. She gives blood regularly and she went to Texas to assist her Mother (Kelly Holifield), Father (Daniel Holifield) and her Mobile County Sheriffs Office Family in feeding the first responders after the Hurricane. If anyone can help the Holifield's please consider a donation and prayer. Jordan's mother (Kelly) hasn't left the hospital since September 9th. Jordan will more than likely be going to a sports rehab away from home. #JoinJordansJourney
