<div>It started last year with my Jeffrey. My husband and best friend.

<div>But we've been hit time and time again and we really could use your help.

<div><strong>Jeffrey had 5 surgeries last year for an anal fistula. </strong>

<div>The medical expenses were overwhelming as it was already, and early last year (February 2024, I lost my job of 72k yearly).

<div>We went from 2 full time jobs to just a single income over night.

<div>Jeffrey is a wonderful construction manager and with the surgeries, he had to miss out of the final closings of the residential builds which also affected our income coming in. Multiple bonuses were missed out on because he was at home, healing. We're talking thousands of dollars each time.

<div>My days were spent wiping and packing a wound in his rectum with no end in sight while during the day, I would do everything in my power to try to make some money.

<div>I applied everywhere. I collected the unemployment check of $500, but I ran out of unemployment money.

</div>

<div>I even tried to do the Rideshare and gig work (Ubereats, Doordash, Instacart, UberRideshare).

</div>

<div>That made a little bit more than what I expected. We were bringing in about $800 a week through the rideshare.

</div>

<div>We have barely been scraping by and while Jeffrey's fistula is finally healed, we found out he still needs 2 total hip replacements on top of the fistula surgeries.

</div>

<div>Mind you, just 1 of those hip replacement surgeries is $7,500.

</div>

<div><strong>I thought I could make up the money somehow but I had a brutal car accident on Tuesday</strong> (June 3, 2025). I totaled my car and I'm pretty bruised up.

<div>Thank God I have no broken bones.

<div>We work hard and are good people. We're just trying to make ends meet.
