Team Patty

August 9th, 2017 Patty Henderson was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized to her liver, lymphoid and both lobes of her lungs. Patty's response, "Ok doctor, how do we fight this?" And fight is what she has done. Patty has completed one round of chemo to date. There have been some significant side effects however. She has been to the ER twice, battled with extreme, debilitating fatigue, dehydration, nausea, vomiting, pneumonia and now has a blood clot in the lower lobe of her lung. Because of this, she wasn't able to do round two of chemo. Again, Patty asked, "Can I start round 2 next week?" She is determined to kick cancers ass. I have no doubt this will happen.
Since her diagnosis, Patty hasn't been able to work and won't be able to for many, many, many months. As part of Team Patty, we are hoping to raise money for her living expenses. To be able to remove the financial burden attributed to her diagnosis. Afford her the ability to continue to care for her dogs, cats and bird. We all know the selfless dedication Patty has made in Animal Welfare and will continue to make. Her journey is made possible with the help of Boo, Winnie, Auggie, Sheldon and Bug. All rescued dogs.
