Myranda's Japan Trip

I am raising money because I have been chosen as a student ambassador to go to Japan for 2 weeks during the Summer of 2014. I have to raise $7500.00 to pay for the trip. I am one of 40 students from middle school thru high school that went through a selection process which included interviews and recommendations from teachers and after school activities. I was nominated by a teacher for this honor.
While in Japan I will experience life as a Japanese student. I will tour the government building, the fashion district, meet with survivors of the nuclear bombing and visit a Japanese family and take part in the ancient tradition of a tea ceremony.
