Help Keep The Girls Afloat
Donation protected
I'm a little nervous about doing this but my love for two people outweighs my resistance. My aunts began their life together in NYC, lived and worked in OCMD for years and finally settled down permanently in a place they loved, Key West, Florida. They lived on a houseboat called Tequila Sunrise until Hurricane Irma hit last weekend. In short they lost everything they own and their home as TS sank into the ocean in Irma's wake. My heart breaks for these women. I love them with every cell in my being. And so I've set up the GFM to see if I can help a little bit by asking you to donate to Keeping The Girls Afloat. If you are unable to contribute I ask for prayers and positive thoughts for them as they reframe their lives. I know I speak for so many when I say their presence on this Earth is immeasurable and we are grateful they are safe and well. My desire is to raise the money for a new boat for them to call home.
my edit for GFM - I am the recipients' niece. I've updated the account so they can access funds directly. They will us funds towards a new houseboat and everything they lost - clothes, personal items, electronics, appliances, household items.
