Thank You, Frances & Henry!
Frances & Henry Greaux's hospitality has helped to shape many of us into who we are today. My cousin Marie (who I call "Maggie") is their only-daughter, and I have included a note from her below reaching out on behalf of her parents, who are known as 'Auntie' and 'Uncle' by many! Marie has agreed to present on our behalf and assist her mother in linking these funds to her parents bank account on her trip tentatively planned for Sept 23- October 7th.
We would like to help, although we are very far away. From our less exotic, yet safe locations, we would like to thank them for their always-open doors, airport shuttles, island tours, and Frances' abundant and always delicious cooking !!!

"My name is Marie and I was born and raised in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands . I am proud to say that I have two loving parents , Henry and Frances Greaux who have always had open doors to anyone who wanted to come visit and enjoy the beautiful island. At this time, I'm asking to family and friends to give a kind donation to my family to alleviate the devastation they have been through due to Hurricane Irma. It has been hard for me not to be able to reach out to my parents, since I'm so far away from them. I'm planning to take a trip to St. Thomas as soon the airport is opened. I will be bringing a generator (already purchased with other funds) and other items necessary to make them comfortable.
The GoFundMe donations made here today will be made available directly to my parents and at my parents discretion may be shared with other of their immediate family. We only hope to help alleviate all of their pain and suffering. My family will be so grateful to know that they have a strong, extended family and dear friends far away that are looking out for them in these hard times. Thank you and God bless you all.... ~Marie"
