Raising $ So Kennedy Can Sing At The Vatican (Autism Or Not). This Is Truly A One In A Lifetime Experience. Has The Opportunity To Go On A Trip With Her College Choir To Italy This Summer And Sing At The Vatican. I Had To Tell Her Yesterday That This Was Not A Possibility Due To The Fact That She Has Autism. Singing Is Kennedy's Thing, She Sang Well Before She Was Able To Communicate It Quite Honestly Broke My Heart. I Have Never Had To Tell Her That She Literally Cannot Do Something Due To Her Disability. So After Being Up All Night Angry And Sad I Have Decided To Give This A Shot. She Would Be Able To Go If I Can Accompany Her. However The Trip Is Quite Expensive It Would Cost A Little Over $8,000 For Us Both To Go. It Also Means Possibly Not Working My Summer Job And Being Away From My Other Kids For 9 Days. Legend Has Agreed That All Of This Is Worth It If We Can Come Up With The Money. So I Am Asking For Help. I Quite Honestly Don't Want To However This Is Kennedy And I Cannot Not Try. I Realize She's An Adult, I Also Realize That She Will Have A Horrendous Amount Of Disappointments In Her Life That Most Of Us Will Never Have And Cannot Begin To Understand So We Have To Try. We Have To. That Being Said I Realize This Is A Huge Amount Of Money. I Am Going To Give The Professor The Initial Deposit Today Fully Understanding I Might Lose It. Fortunately For Today It's Only A Couple Hundred Dollars. If We Do Not Raise Enough Money And Are Unable To Go Please Note Any Money Not Used Toward The Trip Will Be Donated To The Newbury Park High School Choir. Because That Program Along Helps Many Children Achieve Their Dreams. And Frankly How Awesome Is It That The Moorpark College Choir Has Been Invited To Sing At The Vatican!
