Family needs help with medical

On August 21st at 2 am Shane woke me up  to take him to the hospital. He said he was in severe pain. He was holding his abdomen with sweating pouring off of him and he was on the verge of screaming. I got him into the car and drove to Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.
As soon as they got him in a bed in the emergency department, they started an iv and began giving him very strong pain medicine. None of which were helping. He could not lay down and just sitting on the bed was severe pain. After about 6 pain shots he finally started to get a little relief. At this time they took him to have a CT scan to find out what was causing the pain. When he returned they told us the his white blood cell count  was double the normal amount. So we knew there was some infection somewhere.
Finally after waiting for what seemed like hours the emergency room doctor and a surgeon came to talk to us. They explained that Shane had a perforated colon and that his body was filling full of infection. They recommended that Shane go straight into surgery. The surgeon explained that after they found the perforation and removed the injured part of his colon the he would have to have a colostomy bag on his side for a temporary amount of time, so that his body inside could heal.
We signed all needed documents and they were taking him to the operating room. The surgery lasted for 5 hours. That was 5 of the scariest hours of my life. I thought I might lose the love of my life.
After he was taken to his room, the surgeon came and talked with us. She explained that he had so much infection inside of his abdominal cavity that as soon as she began the incision infection came running out of his body. The perforation was longer then she first thought and she had to remove a foot of his colon. She told us that he would not have made it through the night had we not have gotten him to the hospital.
He spent 11 days in the hospital. We had to learn how to take care of and deal with having a colostomy bag. After finally being released and coming home we have a home health nurse that comes in twice a week to check on him and take his vitals. The follow up visit with the surgeon was filled with good and bad news. Good news that in 3 months the colostomy bag can be taken off and they can reverse what was done in his abdomen. Bad news because Shane has no insurance the surgeon wants his fee up front before scheduling the surgery. So that gives us 3 months to try and raise that. We also have lots of medical bills piling up on us. We are quickly running out of colostomy supplies and believe me they are exspensive.
Shane has not been able to work since this happened on the 21st of last month. Doctor says that he will not release him to work until 8 weeks after the reversal surgery. So we are looking at 6 months at the least of him being unemployed. Most that know us personally know that I am not in the best of health myself and I am his total caregiver. We are trying to live off of my disability check which trust me is not enough for 1 person much less 2 people.
Our main concerns now are raising money for his colostomy supplies, the reversal surgery and trying to keep the lights on. Knowing that we had raised enough to help with those 3 things would take alot off of our minds where all we had to concentrate on was getting him totally healed and back to normal.
Anyone that knows Shane knows that not being able to provide for his family and being down is really weighing heavy on his mind. I am hoping that we can get enough help so that he does not have to worry, just concentrate on healing.
