Mary's ongoing cancer treatment

My name is Mary Adams.  I have been diagnosed with two types of cancer.  One is Kidney cancer and the other is bone marrow cancer.  It is very rare to have two different cancers at the same time.  In January I went in and had my left kidney and gland removed and then I started radiation treatment.  I went through that for 12 days and then started Chemo treatment.  Right now the kidney cancer is gone but they are still watching it so it does not go to my other kidney and gland.  I have gone through two rounds (2 weeks of treatments each) and still have to go through another round of treatment.  Now I have to have a bone marrow transplant which could  cost up to $4,500.00 per month for the housing in Seattle at the SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance).  I will be there anywhere from 30 to 100 days and this is only for the housing and nothing else.  We will still need to pay for food and other items for my recovery.  I have just been told that I will need to have this procedure done within the next 3 to 4 weeks.  I was planning to do some fund raisers but I do not have time and energy to do this.  I need help.  Due to the cancer and other challenges, I needed to retire early and am trying to live on $2,000.00 a month right now.  It doesn't go far between the mortgage and hospital bills. I am being told that this my best chance of beating this.  I do not like having to ask for help but I am in a spot where I have to, to save my life.   I have also been told that after the transplant and they get rid of the cancer I will be on maintenance chemo for the rest of my life.

Even though we are trying to go to SCCA (best cancer treatment center here in Washington State) I will still have my bills and everything here at home that I have to maintain, so I do not lose everything I have.  I am meeting with another doctor closer to home for this treatment to see if we can get it done cheaper but do not know.  There will be many costs involved even if I am able to stay at home through most of the treatment.   I might have to hire someone to stay with me at times when I am at home but at least I will be at home some of the time so the cost might be cheaper.  My daughter will also have to take some time off work to be with me throughout this treatment which will affect her income as well.
