Massimo's Mission to Tanzania!

Calling All Family & Friends! 

On April 15th,  2018 for two weeks I will embark on a life changing adventure to Tanzania, Africa with my fellow teacher candidates from York University in partnership with the 'We Leadership Program' in conjunction with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. This program will provide me with  a once in a lifetime experience to partake in teaching, service learning, volunteerism, and educational programs in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I will travel to Tanzania and have the opportunity to explore and enhance my teaching and leadership through combining meaningful service learning and educational activities. I will spend the vast majority of my time teaching at local schools, building classrooms, volunteering in local villages and helping in concrete ways to improve the local community, while having the opportunity to interact intensively with the local people.

The delivery of this program is in conjunction with We Charity. Co-founded by Marc and Craig Kielburger, We (Free The Children) has earned worldwide recognition for its dedication in eradicating child labour throughout the world. One of its programs, entitled Me to We, is devoted to youth leadership and has established program sites around the world.
