Our dear friend and awesome coach, Kellie Sullivan, is fighting a battle that we are all sadly too familiar with these days– the fight against cancer.
Kellie is used to being on the other side of this shitty battle, helping others fight cancer. She is deeply committed to Padres Pedal the Cause, which is a community of cancer fighters who participate in a one-day cycling, running, and stationary bike event at Petco Park to raise funds for local research and clinical trials.
We started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden on her family, Isis and little Luca (9 mos. old). Over the coming days and weeks ahead they will need to be at doctor appointments, hospital stays, and treatments. As you can imagine, the normal costs of everyday living, the medical costs, the loss of work time can be overwhelming.
This fund will enable Kellie’s family to focus on her getting well and fighting this wicked disease called cancer. Donations that are above the amount needed will be given to Padres Pedal the Cause.
