Helping the Davis Family

Renee Davis is a wife, mother of 2 boys, and grandmother to 3. She is loving, caring, thoughtful, encouraging, inspiring, and beautiful. On Sunday September 3rd her whole world change. She woke up with neck pain and no feeling in the right side. By the time they got her to the hospital she had no feeling anywhere. At first they thought it was a stroke, but it wasn't. They kept running test and everything was coming back clear. They admitted her that night and the next day they did a cat scan. The scan showed that she had several herniated/bulging disks in her spine. She was then rushed to Redmond Hospital for emergency surgery. The surgeon told the family she basically had a spinal injury. They were told there would only be a 20% chance she would ever walk again. She spent 2 nights in the ICU, before they moved her to a regular room where she spent 8-9 nights. They were able to get her moved to the Shepherd's Center in Atlanta on Thursday September 14th, where she will be doing rehab. She has movement in both of her arms, and some in her legs. All of this caused both Renee and her husband Chuck to leave work. They have no source of income. Her husband is staying with her every night, due to him being her main caregiver. He is having to learn how to do everything the nurses do for her. I am wanting to raise as much money as I can for this family. They are staying so strong and positive through all of this.
