Foreclosure Assistance

Hi, everyone. I'm not exactly sure how to do this, but we're at the point where I don't know what else to do. We've been having financial difficulties for some time, but they've never been like this. When we got the house years ago, we never, ever had trouble paying the bills. I ended up needing two knee surgeries due to injuries, so that took me out of work completely for months, and then on a limited part-time schedule for months after each surgery. I lost that job, and the job I've had for over two years now doesn't pay nearly as much. My husband & I both work full-time, overtime, and second side-jobs when we can get them, and have been for a few years, because we knew we need more money coming into the household. My oldest son lost his job a few months ago when his employer shut their doors, and while he's had interviews, he hasn't been hired anywhere yet. The income he had been contributing is now gone. My younger son moved in with us at about the same time to escape an abusive relationship, and he hasn't found a job yet, either. It's been a rough few months.We're budgeting better than we had been, making sacrifices, and cutting corners, but it just hasn't been enough. Our family has been helping as much as possible, but there's only so much they can give.We've fallen very far behind on our mortgage. We're so far behind that we received a "Notice to Occupants of Pending Acquisition" from a law group/debt collector. It's basically a foreclosure notice. We have until October 1, 2017 to pay the entire amount due not including fees the debt collector refuses to disclose or we lose our home. We are in the process of trying to work out a payment plan, but so far they are not willing to take the amount we are able to pay, but we are continuing to try to work with them even though we know we cannot pay the entire amount plus the fees they won't disclose in one lump sum like they are asking.This is why we're asking for your help. I know this is a LOT of money. I've been staring at that number, not able to figure out how to get even 1/10th of it, much less all of it. We couldn't pay the mortgage on time as it is, even though we have been working on an almost daily basis to try to pay the bills. Now it's come to a head; now there's a deadline; now we're about out of options. This IS our final option, and I'm hoping you will help us save our home.
