The purposes for which The Louis Max Israel Sr Foundation is raising money are:
(A) to advocate, educate empower and support initiatives that combat illiteracy and infectious diseases among children of under-developing countries, particularly, the country of Haiti;
(B) to obtain support for and provide financial assistance through scholarships for the education of children in under-developing countries;
(C) to provide support, assistance and financial means to construct and manage schools, hospitals, recreational facilities and roads in under-developing countries; and
(D) to engage in any lawful act or activity for which non-stock corporations may be organized under the general laws of the State of Maryland.


The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and/or scientific purposes.
