A New Future For Megan

Have you ever gone through something you thought you might not survive twice? This is a question I keep asking myself when it comes to my dear friend megan. Right before Megan turned 40 she found a lump in her breast. Although she was certain it was just a cyst, Megan was to preoccupied with a divorce that came on suddenly. Within a few short months after this her cancer was diagnosed at stage 2. Megan is now looking at a double mastectomy, while facing the challenges of a divorce. The financial difficulties that got left to her do not make staying in their home seem certain. Due to her double mastectomy and the reconstruction along with chemo, she's unable to work full time. We're asking for help for Megan,Naomi and her Son Darren to stay in their home. To help pay medical bills, and to lift some financial burden. I've accompanied Megan to all surgery appointments & know all details of her life and cancer. I've waited on making this page to see what her financial burden looked like. It's looking daunting needless to say. I do not know how she has been able to maintain the outlook & positivity she has shown! She's a true warrior. A beacon of strength. She's fighting Invasive Ductal Carcinoma stage 1 grade 2. With calcification showing up in both breasts. I'm asking you to help my friend, my sister and her family. Whatever you can donate is deeply appreciated. With everything they've been through so far, I would really like to see them be able to stay in their home. Her two smart & funny kiddos didn't ask for any of this, it's just happening. As her friend i just want her to find some peace through this.
