Saving Denali

This is Denali. For the first time in his life, he has a name. Now he needs and deserves his first chance for love and a happy, safe life. My name is Sandra Duran Greer and I found Denali on September 8, 2017 in Jackson Mississippi. He was in the middle of the street and unable to move. I gently put him on the seat of my car and then called Chrissy Cheshire. She is the founder of Cheshire Abbey Rescue. Chrissy made arrangements for me to take Denali to Florence Animal Clinic in Florence Mississippi. At our arrival Dr. Dye immediately started Denali's blood transfusion. He is extremely emaciated anemic, heartworm positive, has a heart murmur and the list goes on. Denali has the opportunity for a wonderful foster family while he recovers however, the cost of his medical care is more than had been anticipated. Though many of us have donated to Denali's expenses and continue to donate, the end balance is slightly out of our reach. Dr. Dye and her staff are doing all they can to heal Denali's physical wounds, his foster mom will be with him to heal his soul. I only ask that we have help paying for his medical expenses as they continue to rise. Denali's life is worth all that we can give him. He is beautiful.
