Helping Baby Ellory & Family

Recently, my wonderful neighbors, Gareth and Christina, welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Ellory, into the world. She was born at 8:15PM (USA, EST), weighing 3lbs 1oz, on 24th of August, three weeks prematurely. It has been a very rough road for baby Ellory as they discovered that she has Trisomy 18 and issues with her heart.While at UVa, they have been hoping for her to gain enough weight to operate on her heart issues, however, with the Trisomy 18- it has become too much of a risk.The Stevenson family has found a doctor that will perform the surgery on Ellory, however, it is in Omaha, Nebraska.The family must now plan for extended travel and stay in order to fight for their little girl. Her three year old brother, Jonah, has been a trooper and will more than likely be traveling as well.
