Richie's Surgery

Hello. My wife, Amanda, and I are are asking for your assistance. Our 5 month old son, Richard Garrett Thompson, will be having open heart surgery next week, on September 11, 2017. He was born on April 6, 2017 in Augusta, GA with two holes in his heart, one which the doctor described as "generous in size." We were informed that he would need to have surgery to close the larger hole before he was 6 months of age. So we made the last minute decision to move back to my home town in Wisconsin to be closer to family. I recently started a new job as a police officer and unfortunately don't have the time saved up to take off from work. So we will be missing out on those funds from me having to take the time off without pay. Our finacial situation is already stretched pretty thin with the recent move and the multiple doctors appts. The surgery is a couple hours away and he will be in the hospital for at least a week after. Any help/donations you can provide will be greatly appreciated. We hate to ask for help but we are in need. Thank you
