#Goosestrong
After a 14 month battle with Stage 3 colorectal cancer this past year, Rich was in the process of cutting down a dead ash tree on Saturday that had died the previous summer. Long story short he was knocked 20 feet to the ground by a tree branch that came back and smacked him. He currently is at Carle Trauma Surgery Center undergoing surgery for a complete hip replacement, he has 5 broken ribs, a punctured right lung and broken right wrist. Surgery on the wrist is unknown at his time. Rich had only been back to work a few weeks and has now been told that this injury will keep him from working for at least 90 days. Anything you can do to help would be a blessing for us to help ease the transition home.
