Donation protected
Lanelle Struckmeyer Born: March 11, 1936 Called Home: September 5, 2017 Lanelle had a massive stroke Monday, August 14th. She has been in the hospital since that day trying to recover. She then got a bad case of Aspiration and had to be put on a ventilator Tuesday, August 29th. The ventilator was then removed on Sunday, September 3rd. She seemed to be doing well, but hour's later we were told different by the nurse's. We were told that she was then struggling and/or suffering. Less than 48 hour's later, Granny was called home. She fought her fight until the end. She is reunited with her daughter, grandson, mother, father and numerous friend's / family. Today was a very sad day for us, but I know she was filled with joy once she was greeted by Aunt Carmen! At this time, Granny did not have a life insurance policy and it is a great expense for any one person at this time. She would give you the shirt off her back, so she deserves the best, and to be laid to rest properly. Granny was a very independent woman. She was a single mother who raised her 2 children on her own, and helped raise her grandchildren. She lived on her own at 81 year's of age up until the day she went to the hospital. Granny was a very happy and full of life individual. We know that it is a tough time for everyone, but every penny counts.....and would be very much appreciated.
