<div>Tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside, Dave &amp; Ewe is no ordinary farm. It’s a therapeutic sanctuary that has transformed the lives of countless neurodiverse children, young people, and their families.

<div>At the heart of it all is Dave – a calm, compassionate and dedicated man whose life experience, specialist SEN knowledge, and deep understanding of traumatised animals have created something truly unique. With around 200 animals in his care (the majority rescued) – including ponies, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, and more – Dave knows each one by name and temperament. What makes his work so special is how he thoughtfully matches each child with the animal best suited to support their needs.

<div>Children who come to the farm may be anxious, overwhelmed, non-verbal, neurodiverse, traumatised, or facing behavioural challenges. Many are struggling in mainstream education, some are home educated, and most need alternative or supplementary ways to find connection, trust, and acceptance. Through patient teaching, close observation, and a calm rural setting, Dave helps them build confidence, emotional regulation, empathy, and responsibility – often in ways no classroom or clinic can.

<div>Dave works closely with local schools, families, and Social Services, providing a vital alternative provision for children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, attachment difficulties, and other additional needs. The farm is also a trusted support for many adoptive families seeking therapeutic input in a safe, natural setting. Parents often describe it as a “lifeline” – a place where their children feel seen, valued, and safe.

<div>But now, <strong>this lifeline is under serious threat</strong>. The land Dave has lovingly rented and nurtured is being reclaimed for housing development. His lease won’t be renewed – and unless we find a new home, <strong>everything he’s built will be lost.</strong>

<div>That’s why we’ve launched Save Dave &amp; Ewe – a community campaign to raise awareness, help find a new home where Dave can continue to offer the life-changing support so many children depend on.
