Harvey Relief For The Fletcher's

All of my friends and family have asked how they can help and have encouraged me to start this page. The house received 5 ft of water when Cedar Bayou came out of its banks on Aug 28, 2017. My next door neighbor told us that a wall of water rushed down the street facing our house and rammed into our garage door which broke it, flooding the garage instantly and spilling everything inside. It went around the garage, broke down the gate which sheared off the pool pump and filter from its base which then hit the AC condensor pushing it off its foundation. Everything from furniture to baby pictures and Christmas decorations was in the garage. Everything was lost. Everything. Inside the house the refrigerator was flipped on its back and wedged between the oven and the wall. All of the furniture in the house was lost along with the art on the wall and the china cabinet, bathroom vanity and everything else you can imagine in a home. Again, everything was lost. Insurance will cover most things but it wont cover the pool draining, cleaning, filling and replacing the pump and filter. It also wont cover the fences that were torn down or the rocks and steps in the hill that washed away when the water came gushing around the house.
