Our dear family member, Kirsten Englund, is hospitalized after a devastating health crisis, which occurred this week, December 26, 2024. Kirsten suffered from a severe cranial vascular deficiency event, which left her with total right-side paralysis and difficulty forming sentences. She seems to understand us when we talk to her. She is awake, alert, and is coming to terms with her situation.

She will be transferred to an intensive inpatient rehabilitation facility soon.

Kirsten has a long recovery road ahead.

John Kifer (Kirsten’s husband), Robin James (Kirsten’s son), and Kirsten’s siblings (Matt and Erin), and the rest of the family, are deeply saddened and in shock.
