Gas Line Replacement before winter

Last year, the City of Waco turned off our gas at the Brookview Community Church because of a gas leak. I pastor at this particular ministry. After checking with several plumbing companies, I was informed that they would have to dig up the old gas line and replace it. That didn't discourage me. What discouraged me, quite honestly speaking, was how much it would cost to replace the gas line. As a pastor that currently shepherds a small congregation, when "big ticket' items present themselves, what I have done, in times past, is take care of it myself. But, in this season of my life, with a young, growing family, I can't personally afford to take from my house to finance this dire need. My next plan of action was to go to a bank and get it financed. And I heard the Lord say, "No! Do not get a loan!" This is the Scripture that the Spirit of God gave me: The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow (Deuteronomy 28:12). He told me to ask: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7). This was so hard for me to do. I do a lot of giving to people, but it's hard for me to ask. I guess it's my manly pride. But my people lovingly spent the winter of 2016/2017 in the cold. I submit to you on today, to be lead by the Spirit of God, and give out of your heart so that we won't have to do the same this winter.
