Joseph Rogers Memorial Fund

On Saturday, September 2nd 2017, Joseph Jonathan Rogers passed away at the age of 33. His death was sudden, unexpected and shocking. Joe was 7 months post heart transplant and was doing so well, but the Lord decided to call him home. He passed away in his sleep. Joe was a proud father of his 2 beautiful children - Quinton (8) and Jordynn (4). He never went a day without talking about how much he loved them. Joe had so many exciting things coming up. We had just purchased our first home together, his kids are heading back to school, and Joe was trying to figure out what he wanted to do when he could start working again. Joe was an amazing son, father, partner and friend to many. His sharp wit always made everyone laugh, and he always maintained a positive attitude, even in the scariest of times for him. Joe battled his way through BIVAD surgery, a heart transplant, and endless months in the hospital, but he never lost hope. He was a true warrior. It hurts my heart to think that we have to continue our lives without him, but we will be strong. Just as he always was.

Because Joe did not have a life insurance policy, we decided to set up this account to help his mom with the expenses associated with planning a funeral. If you are willing and able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.
