ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships April 22nd to 28th, 2019 Inzell - Germany
My name is Cameron and I have been training in Taekwon-Do since I was 3 years old. It is my life.
I am a 3rd degree black belt and proud to be 2 x Junior Canadian Champion in 3rd degree patterns.
Despite breaking my hand in Calgary at the National Championships - I was invited to represent Canada at the 2019 World Championships which takes place this April in Inzell Germany. I will compete in Individual Patterns; Individual Sparring/Hyper Weight, Power Board Breaking and the Junior Boys Team events. This will be my second World Championships. Ireland in 2017 was an incredible experience. I learned a lot about myself and I am ready to do it all again.
I am very fortunate to be training under Mr. Diego Cabanas and the Arcan team of elite competitors. I have a lot to do in 3 months to prepare myself mentally and physically.
We travel to Germany in April, and money raised will help with my flight, hotel, transportation and food. Competing at this level is a huge commitment. I am so grateful my family has supported me in my Taekwon-Do journey and continues to encourage me everyday.
I can't wait to wear the Canadian flag on my uniform and walk onto the mats among all the other countries. We all share the same passion Taekwon-Do. GO CANADA
Thank you for your support and for following me on this amazing opportunity.
